The Sweetwater County Historical Museum in Green River reopened to the public on Monday, June 15. Please be aware of the following health and safety guidelines.
Museum Director Brie Blasi said that full measures will be in place to ensure the safety of Museum visitors.
Blasi explained that Museum staff spent the last week reorganizing the gallery to open up space and create a new one-way tour route marked by arrows on the gallery floor.
Only two groups or parties will be admitted to the gallery at a time. Once those group have completed their tour, the next can begin their own visit.
The County Museum is located at 3 E. Flaming Gorge way in Green River. Summer hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00AM to 6:00 PM, and closed on Sundays and national holidays. Admission is free.

The following guidelines are in place for all visitors and staff until public health orders are lifted. Please follow them while in the building.
Please be aware we are managing the number of visitors in the building at one time.
Please use hand sanitizer upon entering the building.
Please sign in to help with contact tracing if necessary.
Please use a face covering at all times while in the museum.
Please practice physical distancing and maintain 6 feet distance from other visitors and staff.
Please make sure to follow all signage, including marked directional arrows in the gallery.
Please use the elevator to access public bathrooms in the basement.
Use of the research library is by appointment only.
The museum gift shop is closed for browsing but staff is happy to assist with a purchase.
